"As a country and as a Government we are very excited at the many opportunities that come with the re-birth of Port Louis and the creation of a world class resort hotel at Mount Cinnamon on our legendary Grand Anse beach.
The Government of Grenada is fully supportive of these two development opportunities and will use our best endeavours to assist in as many ways as we can to ensure that these are completed in a timely manner. We are committed to expedite all permits and permissions required by our agencies and to assist the development team and guide them smoothly through any and all bureaucratic processes.
Grenada is committed to expanding and maintaining a tourism industry that puts quality before quantity. We intend to be very selective in the developments that we will support and the projects currently underway at Mount Cinnamon and Port Louis are excellent examples of this. Permitting the Four Seasons development at Mount Hartman is another example of this commitment.
Recognizing the needs of travellers to our “gem of an island paradise”, we are currently upgrading the international arrivals and departures areas at our airport facility and are working closely with several major carriers, including American Airlines, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Air Jamaica to improve on the already commendable airlift available."
Should you decide to become involved in either or both of these properties, as a Government we will be delighted to meet with you and work with you to our mutual benefit.
The Minister of Tourism Hon. Brenda Hood
